2009 – Autumn Messiaskerk Concert – Wassenaar – Reflections in Mid Winter
A highly successful Concert of Classical Music, Jazz, Pop and Vocal Music by Students of the British School in the Netherlands with friends from the international and Dutch community in Aid of KIKA. The Concert was supported by the Gemeente Wassenaar and Music All In.
Grade 8 Distinction on Piano
Two CYM students (Harry King and Mohammed Rashman) were awarded distinction in their ABRSM Grade 8 Piano exams.
Berklee College of Music
CYM student Alvaro Guitierrez was awarded with a place at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston
Miffy Recordings
Three CYM students (Alistair King, Madeleine Parker and Lauren Flemming) who were selected to perform in a prestigious Miffy recording, which took place in Hilversum, were successful and are now performing on the Miffy WEB Site.
National Jazz Youth Orchester and Pure Jazz Festival
CYM student were invited to perform in the National Jazz Youth Orchester. Congratulation to Josh Parfitt who performed in the Pure Jazz Festival in The Hague.
